The note of LG Optimus is a great phone. It is so great that some might call a tablet. Pocket-lint was found with the new phone at Mobile World Congress to see what the new device.
If you thought the VU was great in the photos you have seen, is even greater in the flesh. Too big for a phone - not really the new Vu should be considered as a tablet.
Actually that's OK, and once you have more of that realization, you can start enjoying what the device has to offer - as a great screen and a pencil so you can draw.
The tablet hybrid is not as large as the bill comes in 0.3 inches with a smaller 5-inch screen, but the aspect ratio of 4:3 means that this is not going to fit in your pocket - if you are using a loose pants or jacket.
That resolution 1024x768 IPS screen is very sharp, and combined with a dual core processor at 1.5 GHz and 1 GB of RAM Vu was very fast, when we had a stake in the company's booth at Mobile World Congress.
Unfortunately the screen real estate is somewhat lost in the phone interface and widescreen movies, especially - but that will benefit is in the enjoyment of comics and books and taking notes with the stylus.
